I am excited to share my professional journey and vision!
I am a Senior Social Sciences Educator, Curriculum Designer, and Scholar of History, with 20+ years of experience teaching diverse learners in community colleges, private schools, and individualized home programs. My work focuses on critical thinking, philosophical reasoning, and independent inquiry, helping adolescents and young adults become curious, responsible, and autonomous learners.
I am currently developing a comprehensive inquiry-based curriculum designed to prepare young adults for meaningful and independent lives in a rapidly changing world. Inspired by holistic, learner-centered education that emphasizes autonomy, interconnected learning, and exploration of the broader universe, the curriculum fosters broad intellectual development, engagement with vocational possibilities, and the skills needed to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the future.
I also conduct scholarly research in history and philosophy, exploring ideas that have shaped human progress, innovation, and social flourishing.
I hope to collaborate with educators, families, researchers, and forward-thinking organizations to provide transformative learning experiences that equip the next generation to think critically, act responsibly, and pursue purposeful lives.
If you are passionate about high-autonomy, rigorous, and learner-centered education, I’d love to connect and explore opportunities for collaboration, curriculum development, or research partnerships.
